- MAP check.
- OGE check.
- Cross check.
- Light on skids.
2@ 5' AGL → 40 KIAS
- Lift off.
- Up collective to 5 min. rating.
- Gentle forward cyclic to 40 KIAS.
- Pedals for straight.
4When clear of obstacles → 60 KIAS
- Forward cyclic to 60 KIAS to clear the shaded area of the H-V Diagram.
5@ 500' AGL → level off
- Forward cyclic to 65 KIAS.

Common errors
- Failure to consider performance data, including the H-V Diagram.
- Nose low causing excessive forward speed.
- Failing to maintain max MAP.
- Abrupt control movements.
